Job Summary

The Community Health Outreach Promoter is responsible for implementing health, hygiene promotion, education, and awareness activities within the target areas of International Medical Corps. The role involves working within the local community to promote engagement in health issues.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Build partnerships with key stakeholders and community members.
  • Coordinate with program staff for project implementation.
  • Conduct awareness sessions and outreach activities to inform the community about available services.
  • Facilitate and organize community awareness sessions on health basics and key activities conducted at International Medical Corps health facilities.
  • Assist the community in passing their complaints to management through CBFRM transparently.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. The listed duties are representative of the work's nature and level, not an exhaustive list.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Secondary School Certificate / Matric
  • Previous experience as a Community Volunteer
  • Knowledge of local culture and languages
