Role Description:

The Community Health Outreach Promoter will be responsible for the successful implementation of health and hygiene promotion activities in target areas. They work within the local community to promote engagement in health issues.

Responsibilities:
  • To build partnerships with key stakeholders and individuals in the community.
  • Liaise and coordinate with program staff for project implementation.
  • Carry out awareness raising sessions and outreach activities to inform community members about services.
  • Facilitate awareness sessions on basic health and community activities conducted at health facilities.
  • Ensure community complaints are handled through a transparent process.
  • Maintain respectful and culturally sensitive behavior towards colleagues and community members.

Additional tasks may be assigned based on the role's requirements.

Requirements:
  • Secondary School Certificate or equivalent.
  • Prior experience as a community volunteer is beneficial.
  • Awareness of local culture and languages is essential.
