Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure the quality of software applications.
  2. Lead testing activities, including manual, automated, regression, and performance testing.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, and other stakeholders) to ensure quality standards are met throughout the development lifecycle.
  4. Identify, report, and track bugs to resolution using appropriate bug-tracking tools.
  5. Implement and maintain test automation frameworks for functional and regression testing.
  6. Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in best practices and testing techniques.
  7. Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders, including risk assessments and recommendations.
  8. Drive the adoption of QA tools and processes to improve quality.
  9. Stay updated with emerging trends in QA practices, tools, and technologies.
Skills & Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  2. 4–5 years of experience in QA, with a strong focus on manual and automated testing.
  3. Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, JMeter, or similar frameworks.
  4. Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
  5. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
  6. Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
  7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  8. Effective communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred Skills:
  1. Experience in performance testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
  2. Knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
  3. ISTQB certification is a plus.
