1. Develop/design all promotional material (print & online)
2. Develop and implement communications campaigns with appropriate media in order to attract queries from prospective students (advertising, direct mailings, newsletters, etc.).
3. Develop a reliable and accurate marketing information system (statistics, target market info, competitor research, etc.) to facilitate strategic decision making for marketing & management purposes.
4. Develop and maintain a database of student, academic, and agent contacts.
5. Customer relationship management & direct mailing to recruit prospective students.
6. Manage the marketing & promotions budget to meet student targets in a cost-effective manner.
7. Prepare an annual marketing report to facilitate strategic decision making by management.
8. Liaise and network with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers, and partner organizations.
9. Communicate with target audiences and manage customer relationships.
10. Source advertising opportunities and place adverts in the press (local, regional, national, and specialist publications) or on the radio, depending on the organization and the campaign.
11. Manage the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, e-newsletters, and DVDs.
12. Write and proofread printed material.
13. Liaise with designers and printers.
14. Organize photo shoots.
15. Arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials.
16. Maintain and update customer databases.
17. Organize and attend events such as conferences, seminars, receptions, and exhibitions.
18. Source and secure sponsorship.
19. Conduct market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups.
20. Contribute to, and develop, marketing plans and strategies.
21. Manage marketing budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness of marketing resources.
22. Evaluate marketing campaigns.
23. Monitor competitor activity.
24. Support the marketing manager and other higher authorities.

Admissions:

Assist the Director in overseeing recruitment and admissions activities.
Assist in establishing goals/objectives for the admissions office.
Assist in planning/coordinating the processing of admissions applications.
Assist in planning/coordinating the scheduling of new incoming students.
Implement marketing and recruitment strategies to promote positive public relations for the University and its programs and to enhance enrollment plans/conduct recruitment campaigns; develop recruitment and publicity plans; plan/implement major/minor recruitment events; promote media coverage; plan/coordinate direct mailing and telemarketing efforts; develop communications materials for direct mailings; assist with the development of admissions literature, correspondence, and other materials.
Work with faculty/staff to develop and implement admissions programs and coordinate/conduct tours and give presentations. Serve as academic adviser to students.
