Mian Group of Chakwal is seeking a qualified and experienced Manager Accounts to be part of our finance team. In this critical role, you will coordinate all accounting operations, including tax management, internal controls, and reporting, while supervising the activities of our Accounts & Finance Department. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitoring and review of company's chart of accounts and ensuring timely and accurate bookkeeping.
  2. Treasury/Branch funds management and maintaining strong relationships with various banks to streamline fund flow.
  3. Monthly reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Ensuring taxes are withheld and deposited in the government treasury as per local tax laws, with timely preparation and submission.
  5. Maintaining clear communication with Management, Vendors & Suppliers, and colleagues/staff.
  6. Overseeing and managing the comprehensive financial reporting process within the organization.
  7. Ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency in financial reporting for stakeholder decision-making and regulatory requirements.
  8. Coordinating with teams across accounting, payables, tax, treasury, auditors, actuary, and revenue & operations.
  9. Preparing and reviewing data for local tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
  10. Conducting research and analysis of tax issues, interpreting tax regulations, and providing recommendations to management.
  11. Assisting management with tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities.
  12. Managing and mentoring tax associates and interns, guiding on technical issues and professional growth.

Qualifications & Criteria:

  • MBA in Finance, ACCA, CPA, ICMA, or CA Finalist.
  • 3-7 years of work experience in Accounts & Finance, including managerial responsibilities.
  • Understanding of local regulations, compliance, GAAP, and IFRS.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP accounting applications.
