Job Description

As an HR Manager at Fastn, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing core HR functions, including HR operations, people operations, and recruitment. You'll play a critical role in shaping the company's culture, streamlining HR processes, and building a high-performance team. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership, and hands-on execution to support Fastn's rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations

1. Design and implement HR policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks to support a fast-growing organization.
2. Manage payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS systems to ensure seamless HR operations.
3. Oversee employee records, compliance reporting, and HR documentation.
4. Partner with leadership to ensure legal compliance with employment laws and regulations.
5. Establish and continuously improve onboarding and offboarding processes.
6. Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions when necessary.

People Operations

1. Develop and execute strategies to enhance employee engagement, retention, and company culture.
2. Drive performance management initiatives, including goal setting, feedback cycles, and career development programs.
3. Lead initiatives to improve workplace diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
4. Conduct employee surveys and leverage insights to optimize workplace satisfaction and productivity.
5. Implement learning and development programs to upskill employees and support career growth.
6. Organize team-building activities, wellness programs, and employee recognition initiatives.

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

1. Develop and execute a recruitment strategy to attract top-tier talent across multiple functions.
2. Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
3. Build and maintain strong employer branding to position Fastn as a top workplace in the SaaS industry.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders to define job roles, competencies, and hiring goals.
5. Utilize data-driven insights to optimize hiring processes and candidate experience.
6. Track and report key recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and retention rates.

Who You Are

Must-Have Skills & Experience

1. 4+ years of experience in HR, people operations, or talent acquisition, preferably in a tech or SaaS company.
2. Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance regulations.
3. Proven experience in building and scaling HR processes and systems.
4. Hands-on experience managing full-cycle recruitment and employer branding.
5. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills

1. Experience with HRIS systems and ATS platforms.
