Knowledge and Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and the Laravel PHP Framework
  • Hands-on experience with MySQL schema design, SOLID principles, and REST API design
  • Software testing
  • MySQL profiling and query optimization
  • Creative and efficient problem solver
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, CodeCommit
  • Familiarity with AWS
  • Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Data mining, analysis, and custom reports generation based on requirements
  • Knowledge of working with WebSocket

Responsibilities

  • Develop, record, and maintain cutting-edge web-based PHP applications
  • Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team
  • Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools
  • Utilize backend data services and contribute to increasing the existing data services API
  • Lead the entire web application development life cycle, right from the concept stage to delivery and post-launch support
  • Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, and schedule,s along with technical and process issues
  • Document the development process, architecture, and standard components
  • Coordinate with co-developers and keep the project manager well-informed of the status of the development effort
  • Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development

Qualifications

  • BS-IT/BS-CS/BS-SE OR Bachelor's degree in any relevant field
  • At least 3 years of experience using PHP-Laravel
  • At least 1 year of experience with Vue.js
