Position Purpose:
Will be responsible for assisting the Manager-Reference & Research Support, working with the professional staff, and managing the circulation desk.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the technical processing of books and other library materials.
  • Creating metadata for newly acquired books and other materials.
  • Prepare, route, and collect purchase orders for the library material.
  • Perform circulation duties on regular days and on weekends in different shifts during morning, evening, and nights.
  • Browse and search different websites and online stores to check the availability of required books.
  • Assist library patrons in searching for library materials.
  • Shelf reading of designated area on a daily basis.
  • Scan documents as and when required and add the scanned content to the Institutional Repository.

Experience:

  • Fresh Graduates
  • 2 years of relevant experience is desirable.

Graduate (B.A/ BSc /B. Com)

Work Schedule:

Business hours often extend into the evenings, nights, and weekends to accommodate the needs of current workloads and event schedules.
