Collection Management Officer


About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Collection Management Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for managing library materials, creating metadata, and facilitating various processes related to circulation, digitization, and subscription services.


Responsibilities:
  • Circulation of library materials, including issuance, return, reserve, and renewal.
  • Creating accurate and detailed metadata for library materials in Virtua.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of metadata by debugging and cross-checking.
  • Maintaining the log of serials and preparing Table of Contents for faculty members.
  • Assisting in search and retrieval of case laws.
  • Shelf-reading of assigned collection areas.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent analytical skills, literature searching abilities, and technical knowledge of libraries.


Qualifications:

A Master's degree in Library Science or a related field with a CGPA of 3.0 and above is required. Fresh candidates are encouraged to apply.
