About This Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Project Manager.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading Agile and DevOps practices within the team, acting as Scrum Master for the POD. You will build relationships beyond teams and seek out new ways of improvement.

The ideal candidate will ensure the team adheres to agile values and principles, providing evidence of incremental improvement. They will facilitate meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, and remove obstacles to create an effective environment.

You will serve as a liaison between stakeholders and the development team, providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior team members. You will attend Quarterly Business Reviews and take ownership of product Increment planning.

Additionally, you will address team dynamics, ensuring good relationships between the team, product owner, and others outside the team. You will contribute to simplifying parts of the tech architecture to drive simplicity and reduce TOIL.

Maintaining effective control of the end-to-end application and service lifecycle, including Development, UAT, and Production, is also a key responsibility. You will manage technical debt proactively and address issues before they are assigned.

Furthermore, you will follow governance processes and ensure compliance with HSBC IT FIM requirements. You will drive quality assurance automation, considering test data, environments, and non-functional testing relevant for products/services.

You will work as an IT Service Owner delegate (ITSO) for Talent Intelligence systems, collaborating with third-party service providers. Ensuring service resilience, sustainability, and recovery objectives are met for all software solutions is also essential.

The ideal candidate will provide subject matter expertise and support across teams. They will lead reviews of incidents and demonstrate ownership in resolving team, component, and production issues.

Finally, you will monitor ICE Exceptions, Unix/Linux Patching, Cyclic Patching, Performance and Stress testing, Data Backup and Recovery Plans, DR Tests, Roleswaps, Vulnerability Planning, and Resolution Management.
