METRO opened its first cash & carry wholesale center in Pakistan in 2007 and expanded to 5 wholesale centers within 18 months. In July 2012, METRO and Makro-Habib merged their wholesale businesses in Pakistan, forming a long-term partnership that strengthened their market position. This merger enabled resource sharing, financial growth, and synergies to benefit customers and suppliers. Currently, the company operates 10 wholesale centers across Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Islamabad, and Faisalabad.
METRO Pakistan (Pvt) Limited is part of METRO GROUP's sales division, METRO Cash & Carry, a global leader in self-service wholesale. The group operates over 750 stores in 25 countries across Europe, Asia, and Africa, with a workforce of more than 107,000 employees. In 2016/17, sales reached approximately 37 billion Euro.
Job Description- Pricing analytics & measurement
- Promo optimization
- Responsible for end-to-end process from price collection to implementation
- Pricing reporting to relevant stakeholders on an agreed schedule
- Market intelligence including trade offers, trade promotions, and new product launches
- Price benchmarking & indexing
- Other assignments as required by line management
Bachelor's or Master's degree from an HEC-recognized institution.
Additional InformationMinimum 5 to 7 years of experience in Pricing Strategy or Sales within the FMCG or wholesale/retail industry.
