HR Generalist - Operations (Contract Based)

Location: Faisalabad/Lahore (Weekly travel will be mandatory if candidate is from Lahore)

Workplace type: Hybrid/On Site

As a HR Generalist, you will provide end-to-end HR support to professionals and associate level employees. The incumbent will work towards implementing HR initiatives to drive Ingredion values and embed an inclusive company culture through various employee engagement activities. The HR Generalist will proactively support employee wellbeing and the employee life cycle, Performance Management, Headcount management, and related activities.

This role reports to the Director of HR.

What You Will Do
  • Performance Management – Provide end-to-end support to internal stakeholders during the annual performance review. Deliver refresher sessions to employees to optimize the performance management system for goal setting, career development, and performance feedback.
  • People & Capability Review – Facilitate the annual People & Capability process by identifying themes and trends, support business leaders in creating robust development plans for succession and team development, and use HR metrics to monitor talent pipelines and development of key talent. Ensure accountability for successors and future leaders' development and execution of plans to retain high-potential talent.
  • New Hire Onboarding – Coordinate end-to-end for new joiners (professionals and associates). Develop a detailed orientation plan, prepare organizational announcements, and assign a buddy in collaboration with stakeholders. Debrief new joiners about HR processes and ensure they are equipped with required assets.
  • Employee Engagement Initiatives – Support HR leads in organizing international and regional events (e.g., CEO Awards, Talent Meet, Powerhouse Awards) and global initiatives (World Environment Day, International Women's Day). Organize local events (long service awards, Eid, Christmas, year-end celebrations) to enhance employee experience.
  • Organizational Effectiveness & Development – Support structural improvements and functional reorganization to align with business strategy. Collaborate with Head of HR and HRBPs for talent development and retention.
  • HR Operations – Ensure timely delivery of HR reports and address Workday queries. Promote participation in HR programs including Employee Climate Survey and Annual Performance Review.
  • HR Initiatives – Design and implement action plans from Listen Survey findings, build timelines to achieve targets, and lead initiatives such as quarterly CEO Townhalls and monthly coffee sessions with the Pakistan Leadership Team to enhance employee experience.
  • Learning Initiatives – Support employee development through the Talent Academy and guide stakeholders to maximize learning outcomes.
  • Cultural Transformation – Represent HR on local, regional, and corporate platforms and act as liaison to embed company values across sites.
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor's in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Management Sciences
  • 4 to 6 years of experience
