Overview

Join to apply for the Financial Auditors Required role at ACCA Careers. We are seeking multiple detail-oriented External Auditors to join our team. The External Auditor will be responsible for conducting independent audits of client financial statements in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and applicable laws. The role involves assessing financial records, internal controls, and compliance to provide assurance to stakeholders on the accuracy and fairness of reported information.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and finalize external audits for a range of clients across different industries.
  • Review financial statements, records, and transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
  • Assess internal controls, identify weaknesses, and recommend improvements.
  • Perform substantive testing, analytical procedures, and risk assessments.
  • Document audit findings clearly and prepare professional audit reports.
  • Communicate effectively with client management and stakeholders regarding audit issues and recommendations.
  • Ensure audits are completed within agreed timelines and in line with quality standards.
  • Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, auditing standards, and local regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, ACA, or equivalent) is highly desirable. CA Inter also acceptable.
  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of audit firm experience, preferably with a reputable audit firm.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and relevant local laws.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit/accounting software.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and risk-based audit approaches.
  • Shkuld know how to use accounting softwares especially QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho. (Note: assumed to be typo; kept text as provided but cleaned up in final)
