Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Affiliate Marketing Manager to join our team at a leading e-commerce brand. This pivotal role focuses on expanding and optimizing our affiliate program by recruiting new affiliates, fostering relationships with influencers, and managing existing partnerships. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, driving growth while ensuring operational efficiency. You'll refine affiliate partnerships, enhance conversions, and leverage industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Affiliate Recruitment and Management:
Identify, recruit, and onboard new affiliates, influencers, and partners to grow the affiliate network.
Build and maintain strong relationships with affiliates, providing regular support and resources to ensure their success.
Continuously monitor and evaluate affiliate performance, optimizing campaigns to maximize ROI. - Influencer Collaboration:
Source and establish partnerships with influencers aligned with the brand, focusing on conversions and brand awareness. - Performance Optimization:
Analyze affiliate program performance using key metrics and make data-driven decisions to improve effectiveness.
Identify underperforming affiliates, develop improvement strategies, or negotiate exits to maintain a high-performing network. - Strategic Partnership Management:
Negotiate commission structures and terms with affiliates, ensuring partnerships are mutually beneficial.
Collaborate with internal teams (creative, content, and marketing) to develop compelling promotional materials. - Program Development:
Track industry trends and best practices, refining strategies to stay competitive in affiliate marketing and e-commerce.
Develop and implement long-term strategies that align with overall marketing and sales objectives. - Reporting and Insights:
Provide regular performance updates to leadership, offering actionable recommendations for program improvements.
Requirements:
- Experience:
3-5 years of proven experience in affiliate marketing, preferably in e-commerce.
Demonstrated success in growing and optimizing affiliate programs. - Skills and Competencies:
Strong relationship-building skills for managing affiliate partnerships, including influencers and publishers.
Expertise in analyzing performance data, tracking KPIs, and making data-driven decisions.
Skilled in negotiating competitive commission rates and partnership terms.
Proficiency in affiliate platforms, tracking software, and marketing tools (e.g., Impact affiliate network is a plus).
Exceptional project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously. - Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights and strategies effectively. - Market Knowledge:
Up-to-date with trends and best practices in affiliate marketing and influencer strategies.
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and a solid understanding of the industry.
