About the Role: Business Development Associate
This is a critical role responsible for driving company growth through strategic partnerships. We're looking for a dynamic, self-driven individual or agency who is passionate about relationship-building, storytelling, and creating social impact.
You'll be identifying securing and strengthening partnerships, and collaborations through the form of bookings for the venue: Rah e Nau Confluence. In this way you will help strengthen and grow the Partnerships Portfolio for RNC and represent us at key events.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and map client segments (corporates, gov, academia, wellness, photographers, etc.)
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships with clients and service providers
- Promote Confluence's offerings and story with authenticity and passion
- Tailor marketing content with support from the core team
- Represent Confluence at networking events alongside the Line Manager
- Send thank-yous, track bookings, and maintain records
- Report monthly on partnerships and opportunities
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
- Experience in sales, partnerships, or business development (preferred)
- Exceptional communication, negotiation & organizational skills
- Strategic thinker with a positive, value-centric mindset
- Self-starter, results-oriented, problem solver and adaptable
