Vertex IT Solution is seeking a data-driven and detail-oriented Data & Performance Analyst to oversee and analyze the performance of our Amazon e-commerce operations. This role involves building and automating performance dashboards, generating actionable insights from key business data, and collaborating across marketing, operations, and finance to drive profitability and operational excellence. You will play a critical role in tracking Amazon performance KPIs, analyzing operational and financial data, and supporting leadership with actionable insights and P&L reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly profit & loss (P&L) for all Amazon marketplaces.
  2. Build and maintain automated dashboards (Power BI, Google Data Studio, or Tableau) to visualize KPIs and operational metrics.
  3. Analyze Amazon account performance metrics across listings, sales, and inventory health.
  4. Analyze SKU-level data on pricing, refunds, inventory health, and customer returns.
  5. Identify revenue leakage and cost-saving opportunities across accounts and campaigns.
  6. Collaborate with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment and accuracy in reporting.
  7. Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning related to Amazon sales.
  8. Deliver insights and performance reports to leadership with clear recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, E-commerce, or a related field.
  2. 1+ years of hands-on experience in Amazon performance reporting or e-commerce analytics.
  3. Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, with ability to build pivot tables and dashboards.
  4. Working knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and P&L tracking.
  5. Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
  6. Comfortable interpreting large data sets and providing meaningful insights.
  7. Excellent communication and data storytelling skills – able to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  8. Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive in problem-solving.
  9. Experience working with remote teams or virtual assistants is a strong plus.
