An Environment Artist creates the environments, backgrounds, and layouts of animated video games.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience.
  • Must have software skills in 3DS Max, Maya 3D,
  • Hands-on experience in Photoshop, Mudbox, Zbrush, and Unity 3D.
  • Creativity, a passion for video games.
  • Wide-ranging knowledge of gaming trends.
  • Strong analytical frame of mind.
  • Team Player and effective communication skills.

Job Role
  • Constructing various aspects of gaming environment like terrains, valleys, scenery, props, and models in 3D environment.
  • Modeling and texturing the design to suit the real-life form, detailing the scene with painting textures for maintaining the quality requirements of the game developer
  • Communicating with programmers & designers for designing the game in a creative manner.
  • Understanding the game features for creating game-based environment, enhancing the overall look and style of the game, and making it a fun-based experience.
  • Improvising the existing environment with designing, characters, etc., for improving the game style.
