We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

  1. Execute technical lead role for medium to complex projects.
  2. Design, code, test, debug, and record COBOL programs in CICS/VSAM/JCL environment.
  3. Understand the design and requirements, and develop and execute custom application features and functions.
  4. Understand the BRD and break the requirements into MVPs and stories.
  5. Collaborate with architects, solution analysts, SMEs from various teams to drive the right solution and outcome.
  6. Create estimates for medium to large-sized projects.
  7. Create high-level design and analyze and develop code as per specifications.
  8. Conduct peer reviews for design, code, and unit test results.
  9. Follow standards and controls to ensure quality of outcome.
  10. Support production deployment and post-development implementation activities.
  11. Perform application support as necessary.
  12. Participate in and drive crisis calls for production incidents.
  13. Identify and work on system performance improvements.
  14. Mentor junior developers in the team.
  15. Manage stakeholder relationships.
