Position: Accounts & Finance Manager

Job Description:
The company is seeking an experienced and strategic Finance & Accounts Manager to lead and manage the finance and accounting functions. The Finance Manager will play a critical role in financial planning, risk management, compliance, and supporting business growth. This executive will also be responsible for driving operational efficiency and aligning financial strategy with the company's long-term goals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic & Financial Leadership
    • Develop and execute financial strategies to support growth and sustainability.
    • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
    • Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team and board.
  2. Financial Operations & Reporting
    • Oversee timely and accurate financial reporting (UK GAAP/IFRS).
    • Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury operations.
    • Ensure robust financial controls and internal audit readiness.
  3. Compliance & Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with SECP, FBR, tax laws, and other regulatory bodies.
    • Lead annual statutory audits and liaise with external/internal auditors.
    • Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
  4. Investor & Stakeholder Management
    • Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and investors.
    • Support fundraising efforts and investor relations through financial modeling and projections.
  5. Team & Systems Leadership
    • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing finance and accounts team.
    • Implement financial systems, ERP, and automation to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • CA Finalist/ ACCA/ ICMA or MBA-Finance
  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in a senior finance leadership role
  • Experience in fintech, telecom, or Ed-Tech is preferred
  • Strong expertise in financial planning, reporting, compliance, and strategic advisory

Key Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Sound leadership and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proficient in ERP systems and financial tools
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of digital financial services

Additional Details:

  • Experience: 5+ years
  • Work Timings: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Work Days: Monday - Friday, Saturday (11:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
  • Location: Islamabad - Onsite
  • Salary: Market Competitive
