Role Summary
We're seeking a Vice President of People to lead and scale Edge's global People function. As a strategic partner to the executive team, you will oversee all aspects of People Operations, HR, Talent Acquisition, and Culture across our global organization. Your leadership will ensure Edge is equipped with the talent, systems, and culture to drive growth, innovation, and impact at scale.
This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring a blend of strategic vision, operational excellence, and a deep commitment to building a diverse, inclusive, and high-performance workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- People Strategy: Define and execute Edge's global People strategy, aligning with business goals and cultural values.
- Leadership: Lead and inspire a globally distributed People team across HR, Talent Acquisition, and People Operations.
- Global HR Operations: Oversee all core HR functions—recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation & benefits, employee relations, learning & development, and compliance.
- Organizational Design & Culture: Partner with the executive team on org design, workforce planning, and change management. Champion a culture of performance, feedback, and continuous learning.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to employment laws and best practices across jurisdictions in partnership with legal and tax advisors (e.g., KPMG, Jackson Lewis, Baker McKenzie).
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Leverage HR metrics, engagement surveys, and feedback to inform strategy and drive continuous improvement.
- Policy Development: Create, review, and communicate HR policies that support the evolving needs of a global, distributed team.
- Budget Management: Oversee the People function's budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in People/HR roles, with at least 3+ years at the senior executive level (VP, Head of People, or equivalent).
- Proven success in scaling People operations within global, high-growth, or remote-first organizations.
- Deep expertise in global employment law, HR best practices, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Track record of building inclusive, high-performance cultures that drive engagement and business outcomes.
- Proficiency with HR systems (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse, Lattice) and leveraging data for decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (advanced degrees and certifications like SHRM-SCP, SPHR are a plus).
