Job Title: Client-Facing Data Engineer / Tech Lead / Team Lead (Data Engineering & Pipelines)

Location: Remote (Pakistan – US hours overlap)

Type: Full-Time / Contract

Compensation Contractors: $3000 – $4000/Per Project/ Per month

Compensation Full Time: PKR 250,000 - 350,000 Base Per month + Project Bonuses (Recurring Per Month)

Role Summary:

We're looking for a confident Data Engineer to join our team in a client-facing role. The ideal candidate should be able to lead technical discussions with international clients, build scalable data solutions, and ensure successful project transitions. This is a key position for engineers with a strong background in modern data stack tools and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead project discovery and onboarding calls with clients
  • Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and warehouse models
  • Support data ingestion from multiple sources (APIs, files, databases, etc.)
  • Present architecture plans, data flows, or mini POCs as needed
  • Collaborate with internal data and software teams for handoffs and delivery
  • Help customize client-facing portfolios with data case studies

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in Data Engineering roles
  • Proficiency with tools like Python, SQL, Airflow, DBT, Kafka, and cloud data platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, warehousing (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake), and API integrations
  • Prior experience in building production-grade data pipelines
  • Solid grasp of performance optimization, version control, and CI/CD in data projects
  • Be available for 2–3 client meetings or internal discussions per day
  • Must have a camera/mic-ready setup, backup power, and reliable internet in case of remote work
  • Must be available during US business hours (PST/EST overlap required)
