Proposal Writer

Responsibilities:
- Research and analyze current and future markets to identify new opportunities
- Respond to RFPs and business proposals (Bids), ensuring compliance with all submission requirements
- Develop proposal outlines and manage proposal timelines in collaboration with Proposal Managers
- Write, edit, and compile proposal content, including executive summaries, resumes, and project descriptions
- Ensure compliance with RFP criteria (content, formatting, length, layout)
- Maintain quality using templates and consistent proposal-writing standards
- Organize and update all related proposal documentation
- Track and maintain a log of submitted bids and their outcomes
- Track and maintain a record of all submitted proposals and their statuses
- Continuously refine and improve proposal processes, templates, and content libraries
- Ensure all submissions are error-free, well-organized, and meet formatting and deadline requirements
Qualification and Experience:
- Must have a degree in English language & Literarure
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience in business proposal writing or bidding (preferred)
- 2-5 years of experience with government proposals and/or technical proposals is a plus
- Prior experience bidding on platforms like Upwork is highly desirable
- Exceptional written communication, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong research abilities and understanding of RFP sourcing and evaluation
- Familiarity with freelance marketplaces and bidding strategies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and work independently under pressure
- Analytical thinker with attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving attitude
- Strong organizational and time management skills
