About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Testing Analyst to support our payroll transformation program as we transition from iChris and MYOB to Ceridian Dayforce. This role is critical in ensuring payroll accuracy, data integrity, and compliance during implementation and post-go-live validation.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Testing Analyst to support our payroll transformation program as we transition from iChris and MYOB to Ceridian Dayforce. This role is critical in ensuring payroll accuracy, data integrity, and compliance during implementation and post-go-live validation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute comprehensive test cases across payroll modules in Dayforce
  • Validate legacy data migration from iChris and MYOB to Dayforce
  • Perform end-to-end payroll testing, including parallel runs, retro payments, terminations, superannuation, and tax calculations
  • Collaborate with functional consultants, payroll SMEs, and HRIS to identify gaps and testing priorities
  • Log, track, and verify defects across system and user acceptance testing (SIT and UAT)
  • Document testing results, provide impact analysis, and support go-live readiness activities
  • Assist in post-implementation audits and payroll reconciliation tasks

Required Skills & Experience
  • 4–5 years' hands-on payroll testing experience (Dayforce implementation experience highly preferred)
  • Previous involvement in system transitions from platforms like iChris or MYOB
  • Proficient in developing test scripts, test plans, and using defect management tools (e.g. JIRA)
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
