Software Quality Assurance Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled Junior/Intermediate SQA Analyst to join our BuildTopia R&D team. The ideal candidate will contribute to ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of releases.

The successful hire will collaborate with cross-functional teams located in Karachi and the US/Canada, requiring effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the overall QA strategy for product releases.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify and prioritize testing efforts.
  • Create and execute test plans, cases, and scripts to guarantee high-quality software releases.
  • Analyze defects and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Good understanding of software development life cycles.
  • Familiarity with software QA methodologies and processes.
  • Experience in functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
  • Ability to identify, isolate, and track defects throughout testing.
  • Knowledge of database/SQL writing and executing queries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work within a team and possess good organizational skills.
