Job Summary:

The Senior Enterprise Solutions Architect will be a key technical leader responsible for defining technology strategies, driving innovation, and overseeing the implementation of complex client and internal solutions. This role combines expertise in security design and cloud architecture, with specialization in Microsoft 365 and Azure environments. The position requires significant interaction with client stakeholders and close collaboration with the Client Partner Executive to provide strategic technological direction, development, and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.
  2. Analyze technical requirements with clients and the Client Partner Executive to evaluate and architect technology solutions.
  3. Collaborate with the Client Partner Executive to develop detailed cost justifications for complex solutions.
  4. Architect and design scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based and hybrid solutions, including single and multi-tenant environments.
  5. Design and maintain Azure, Microsoft 365, and cloud-based SaaS applications.
  6. Implement and enforce security best practices.
  7. Develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes for evaluation.
  8. Serve as a high-level escalation point for enterprise client environments.
  9. Develop architecture frameworks and security protocols for cloud infrastructure.
  10. Automate provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud resources.
  11. Implement cost optimization strategies for cloud infrastructure.
  12. Ensure adherence to standards within client environments.
  13. Maintain detailed documentation of architectures, processes, and best practices.
  14. Act as a trusted advisor to Client Partner Executives, including business and IT management.
  15. Educate and assist teams with understanding and implementing new technology investments or changes.
  16. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams regionally.

Education Requirements, Skills, and Knowledge:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  2. Minimum of 15 years of relevant technical experience, including at least five years in a senior technical role.
  3. Experience implementing security architectures across on-premises and cloud (Azure).
  4. Proficiency in hardening servers, workstations, and mobile devices.
  5. Expertise in Azure, Microsoft 365, and MSP toolsets.
  6. Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) preferred or demonstrated experience.
  7. Deep knowledge of Azure AVD, Entra B2B, Okta, and Nerdio.
  8. Strong understanding of networking, security, and identity management.
  9. Knowledge of Data Engineering, Machine Learning frameworks, prompts, and LLMs.
  10. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  11. Self-starter capable of working independently or in teams.
  12. Effective negotiation and vendor management skills.
  13. Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and simply.
  14. Strong relationship-building and stakeholder influence skills.
