We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of SENIOR PORTFOLIO SERVICES MANAGER.

Principal responsibilities:

  1. Demonstrates good knowledge of Transformation Programme/Project Management Framework, supporting the creation of detailed plans including key activities and milestones.
  2. Supporting $800m CTB portfolio, support in prioritization activities, QBR, understand deliveries and challenges across different programmes.
  3. Provide guidance to the Portfolio / Programme / Project Manager in defining required scope, quality, cost, and effort.
  4. Understands the impact of change requests to scope, time, budget or effort and helps identify the new requirements to deliver the project successfully.
  5. Oversight / Supervision of progress against the plan, looking ahead and removing roadblocks to delivery.
  6. Oversight of Risks and Issues through appropriate tracking and involving key members of the portfolio / programme/project team as appropriate.
  7. Tracks and reports financial performance metrics and builds budget control to manage expenses.
  8. Develops communication and reporting strategy, coordinates between stakeholders for progress reviews, key decisions, documentation and approvals.
  9. Proactively and effectively manages own time and workload, advocates to team the importance of project pace to achieve successful delivery.
  10. Establishes and updates quality procedures, manages internal ad-hoc quality audits, reports quality variance and suggests corrective actions.
  11. Keeps focus on the medium and long term goals and the Group's values particularly when under short term pressure.
  12. Work with Portfolio /Programme / Project Manager to provide project governance and compliance, identifying and raising issues when necessary, monitoring tollgates and budgets.
  13. Helps ensure the portfolio / programme /project team follows all quality assurance processes, GTC frameworks and use standard tools.
  14. Manages staffing requirements for the programme, maps skill profiles and develops resource and skill augmentation strategies, identifies right shoring opportunities.
  15. Is organized, plans their work and delivers on time / keeps commitments.
  16. Acts as a good team member and shows a positive collaborative attitude, promoting HSBC's values and behaviors.
  17. Shows high standards of professionalism in the quality of written and personal communication, especially in front of the business and delivery partners.
  18. Helps the Portfolio / Programme / Project Manager to create a positive work environment for the project team.
  19. Maintains personal and professional development, increasing professional knowledge and skills experience.
  20. Demonstrates self-awareness of own strengths and weaknesses, seeking feedback and taking responsibility for their own development.
  21. Manages any Programme and Projects Services Manager /Analysts in the team to ensure they deliver quality work and meet the expectations of the programme.
  22. Define KPI structure along with Thresholds and work with the Programme teams to integrate the same.
  23. Drive Action oriented Monthly Portfolio Delivery Forums and work towards closing the actions.
  24. Drive the NFR adoption across all Programmes.
