Hyderabad City Taluka, Pakistan Base Camp Data Solutions Full time

● Design, install, and configure internal and customer-facing servers, network devices, and firewalls.

● Proactively manage and maintain server, network, and firewall systems.

● Provide local site administration of IT infrastructure: servers, security, networking, storage systems, and desktops.

● Configure, administer, and support core Microsoft, AWS cloud, and Cisco technologies.

● Manage server virtualization technologies like VMware Server/ESXi and Microsoft HyperV. Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments, and contingency plans.

● Design and implement monitoring, configuration management, and reporting functions to enable a hands-off environment.

● Define and document best practices and support procedures.

● Collaborate with development teams to research, design, and implement new services and technologies for scaling data sets, improving performance, and reducing developer workload.

● Develop and implement infrastructure disaster recovery procedures.

● Provide after-hours support for infrastructure-related emergencies and occasional weekend maintenance.

● Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation.

● Work with other offices and territories to plan and implement new technologies.

● Assist with hardware, firewall, telecom, and software vendor evaluation, recommendations, and negotiations.

● Mentor and cross-train team members on existing and new technologies.

● Carry out special IT tasks as directed by management.

● Interact with customers and staff at the technical level as required.

Requirements
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science/IT or related field, with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  2. Microsoft certifications or equivalent relevant certifications preferred.
  3. Advanced knowledge of Windows Servers and desktop operating systems.
  4. Solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking.
  5. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Professional (CCNP) preferred.
