Position Summary:

The Assistant Manager Sales for the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) sector will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth within this key segment. This individual will be responsible for developing a robust sales pipeline, managing client relationships, and leading the end-to-end sales process for solar projects. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, target-oriented professional with a strong understanding of B2B sales and the renewable energy landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development: Proactively identify, prospect, and acquire new commercial and industrial clients for solar energy solutions.

Sales & Target Achievement: Meet and exceed ambitious sales targets and KPIs for the C&I sector.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in client organizations.

Proposal Development: Conduct site visits and energy audits to prepare customized, compelling, and financially viable solar proposals.

Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations and close deals, ensuring all contracts are aligned with company policies and client needs.

Market Intelligence: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and government policies related to the C&I solar sector.

Technical Knowledge: Effectively communicate the technical and financial benefits (ROI, payback period) of solar solutions to potential clients.

Reporting: Maintain accurate sales records and report on sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline status to management using our CRM system.

Qualifications:

Experience: 3-5 years of proven sales experience, with at least 2 years in B2B sales within the solar, power, energy, or a related technical industry.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a relevant field.

Technical Skills: A solid understanding of solar technology, system components, and financial models is a significant advantage.

Soft Skills:

Excellent negotiation and communication (verbal and written) skills.

Strong presentation abilities with the capacity to engage C-level executives.

Highly organized, proactive, and capable of working independently to achieve targets.

Other:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Must have a valid driving license and be willing to travel for client meetings and site visits.
