Clinical Nurse, Off-Campus Hospitals Hospital

The Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) is a not-for-profit healthcare institute that offers comprehensive medical services under one roof. It includes a tertiary care hospital in Karachi, 4 Off-Campus Hospitals, over 30 Medical Centres, more than 290 Clinical Laboratories, 30+ Pharmacies across 120+ cities in Pakistan, as well as Home Healthcare Services and medicine delivery. AKUH also provides Zakat for eligible patients and has a Patient Welfare program supporting those in financial need. Recognized for its quality and patient safety, AKUH is accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI) as an Academic Medical Centre, and its Clinical Laboratories are accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP).

The positions are based at Off-Campus Hospitals in Karimabad, Garden, and Kharadar.
ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for:
- demonstrating safe handling and proper use of equipment and supplies
- providing high-quality, personalized, holistic nursing care to all assigned patients
- administering medication safely, understanding drug dosages, consulting drug manuals or pharmacy information, monitoring patient responses, and reporting findings promptly
- counseling and educating patients on health behaviors
- using electronic monitoring equipment efficiently
- performing patient assessments and developing care plans accordingly
- performing any other tasks assigned by the supervisor
You should have:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BScN)
- Six months of work experience (preferred)
- A valid license from the Pakistan Nursing Council
- Certification in Basic Life Support, ACLS, PALS, NRP, Safe Medication Administration, and Intravenous Cannulation
- Ability to assess, plan, and manage patient care as per protocols
- Willingness to work in shifts
