About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-driven US based Construction Estimator to join our growing team. As a key contributor in the preconstruction phase, you will be responsible for analyzing project requirements and preparing accurate cost estimates that drive successful project execution. You'll work closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure that our bids are competitive, precise, and aligned with the company's standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and related documents to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Prepare and submit detailed bid proposals, budgets, and cost breakdowns for various types of construction projects.
• Liaise with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to gather necessary project information and clarify scope of work.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitive pricing and accuracy.
• Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings to assess site conditions and potential project challenges.
• Maintain and update cost databases, unit price libraries, and estimation tools in line with current market trends.
• Analyze historical data and past project performances to refine estimating processes and improve cost accuracy.
• Collaborate with project teams during post-award phases to support budgeting, procurement, and cost tracking.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a construction estimating role.
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and industry practices.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in both commercial and residential construction projects.
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
• Knowledge of different contract types and risk factors in pricing and estimating.
