Estimation Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimation Engineer with a strong background in US-based estimation.

This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in estimating construction projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate Preparation: Prepare detailed material take-offs and estimates based on drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
  • Communication: Clearly communicate bids and scope details with project managers, supervisors, and contractors/subcontractors to ensure seamless collaboration and project alignment.
  • Cost Optimization: Analyze design and constructability to identify cost-effective solutions, reducing project costs without compromising quality or timelines.
  • Bid Management: Prepare and assemble bids/proposals for various contract types, ensuring compliance with tender documents and project requirements.
  • Tender Document Review: Review tender documents and manage RFIs to ensure precise bid submissions and minimize risks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with operations, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment and effective risk management.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining a 'Lessons Learned' database for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of US-based estimation experience.
  • Ability to handle all trades (GC + MEP) with precision and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Plan Swift, MS Office, and related estimation tools.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Project management and supervision skills are highly desirable.
