About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Data Scientist to join our growing Data & AI team in Karachi. You will lead impactful machine learning and analytics projects, guide junior team members, and collaborate cross-functionally to solve high-value business problems using data-driven approaches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Model Development: Design, build, and deploy ML models (prediction, classification, clustering, recommendation).
  • Advanced Analytics: Perform deep exploratory data analysis and develop statistical models to extract business insights.
  • Project Leadership: Own the data science lifecycle from business problem definition to production and monitoring.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate business questions into data science solutions, explain results in simple terms.
  • Data Collaboration: Work closely with data engineering teams to build scalable data pipelines and feature stores.
  • MLOps: Implement best practices in model deployment, CI/CD, versioning, and monitoring.
  • Mentorship: Support junior data scientists by reviewing code, modeling strategies, and encouraging experimentation.
  • Innovation: Apply cutting-edge AI techniques (generative AI, LLMs, reinforcement learning) to real-world problems.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in data science with leadership in complex ML projects.
  • Proficiency in Python or R and ML libraries like Scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Deep knowledge of machine learning, statistical modeling, and time-series forecasting.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale data (e.g., Spark, Databricks).
  • Experience deploying models in Azure environments.
  • Familiar with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Airflow, Kubeflow, etc.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
