About the job:

This is an exceptional job opportunity to join UK's leading translation and interpretation company, EMPIRE GROUP. We are looking for a full-time Mobile Application Developer for our office located in Phase 7, Bahria Town, Islamabad. The incumbent must have prior experience in developing both Android and iOS applications. The developer will lead the entire app lifecycle from concept stage until delivery and post-launch support. In addition to delivering the product, the successful candidate will be heavily involved in driving the mobile strategy globally.

Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
  2. Experience with the Android SDK, Java, NDK, Kotlin
  3. Proven work experience in API integration with Retrofit
  4. Previous experience in developing VOIP applications
  5. Worked with Firebase products like authentication, real-time database, storage
  6. Design, develop, code, test, and release iOS apps in alignment with business goals
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects
  8. Improve code quality through writing unit tests, automation, and performing code reviews
  9. Understand UX and UI design to translate end-user requirements into technical solutions
  10. Deep understanding of Objective-C or Swift
  11. Solid experience in native iOS development frameworks (API, testing, deployment, etc.)
  12. Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data or Core Animation
  13. Comprehensive understanding of Agile development process
Requirements & Skills:
  1. BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
  2. 5+ years of experience as a developer on both Android and iOS platforms
  3. Sufficient knowledge of publishing apps on both platforms
  4. Prior experience in developing VOIP applications on either platform
  5. Ability to manage projects and lead a team
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills
  7. Good verbal and written communication skills
Work mode:

Work from Office.
