We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Automation & Industrial Electrician Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical systems and automation technologies, coupled with a passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans and curriculum for the Automation & Industrial Electrician Program.
  • Provide hands-on training in industrial electrical systems, automation technologies, and control systems.
  • Teach students how to install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical equipment and automation systems.
  • Ensure students understand safety protocols and best practices in an industrial environment.
  • Evaluate student performance through assessments, projects, and practical exams.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in automation and electrical technology.
  • Maintain and manage lab equipment and tools.
  • Foster a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial electrical systems and automation.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming, motor controls, and industrial automation systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior teaching or training experience is preferred.
  • Commitment to student success and continuous improvement in teaching methods.
