About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Officer (BDO) to join our growing e-commerce team. In this role, you will identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships with potential clients and vendors to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential clients and vendors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies.
  • Conduct thorough research on target areas and gather detailed information before initiating new projects.
  • Negotiate and close deals to achieve revenue targets.

Market Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Analyze competitor activities and create effective counter-strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and best practices.

Client Management:

  • Manage and nurture existing client relationships to ensure high satisfaction levels.
  • Proactively address client concerns and issues.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, operations, finance) to achieve business goals.
  • Share insights and knowledge to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven track record in business development and sales.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the e-commerce industry and its trends.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong research ability to gather comprehensive details on targeted areas before starting new projects.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
