About the role:

As a Senior Manager Capability Development under the Nayi Raah Program, you will have the flexibility to manage your work responsibilities as mentioned within the agreed timings and for the duration of your contract. As a member of the Sales & Customer Care team, you will focus on enhancing sales capability, improving team performance, driving change management, and helping the organization navigate uncertainty. The consultant will work closely with leadership and key stakeholders to implement psychology-driven strategies that foster a high-performance culture.

Your Impactful Goals will include:

1. Sales Capability Development
  • Assess current sales processes and team dynamics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement psychology-based training programs to enhance sales skills, resilience, and motivation.
  • Develop strategies to improve communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills among sales professionals.
  • Provide coaching and feedback mechanisms to reinforce learning and skill application.
2. Performance Uplifting of the Team
  • Conduct behavioral assessments to identify performance gaps and strengths.
  • Develop targeted interventions to improve employee engagement, motivation, and productivity.
  • Facilitate workshops and coaching sessions to build a growth mindset and high-performance culture.
  • Implement data-driven performance tracking systems to measure improvement over time.
3. Driving Change Management
  • Guide leaders and teams through organizational changes using evidence-based psychological principles.
  • Design and implement strategies to increase adaptability, reduce resistance, and foster buy-in for change initiatives.
  • Conduct change readiness assessments and provide recommendations for smooth transitions.
  • Deliver training on emotional intelligence, resilience, and stress management during periods of transformation.
4. Navigating Through Uncertainty
  • Equip teams with tools and techniques to manage ambiguity and uncertainty effectively.
  • Develop frameworks to enhance decision-making, problem-solving, and agility in dynamic environments.
  • Provide psychological safety training to encourage open communication and innovation.
  • Support leadership in fostering a resilient and adaptable organizational culture.
Your typical day at work:
  • Meet with sales managers to review performance trends and training needs.
  • Conduct a short coaching session with a sales team on persuasion techniques or resilience strategies.
  • Provide feedback on recent sales interactions and suggest psychology-based improvement tactics.
  • Facilitate a quick workshop or team discussion on motivation, goal setting, or productivity.
  • Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with employees facing performance challenges.
  • Review behavioral assessment data to identify gaps and tailor future interventions.
  • Consult with leadership on an ongoing change initiative (e.g., new sales strategy, restructuring).
  • Design a communication plan to help employees embrace upcoming changes.
  • Develop engagement activities to reinforce change adoption and manage resistance.
  • Conduct leadership coaching sessions on decision-making in uncertain environments.
  • Develop and share practical tools to help employees manage stress and ambiguity.
What we're looking for:

Education:Master's or PhD in Organizational Psychology, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or a related field.

Work experience:Proven experience of 5 years in consulting, coaching, or training in organizational development, sales effectiveness, and change management.

Potential Career Path:

Having gained experience in this position enables many diverse openings to the individual including vertical growth on a full-time employment role if the individual chooses.

Possible avenues in other functional roles include options in circle and regional planning/marketing / S&D planning/customer value management

Functional skills/Knowledge areas:
  • Strong understanding of behavioral psychology principles applied to workplace performance.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Experience working with sales teams or in high-performance environments is a plus.
