A Lead Software Engineer will work in a team comprising Software Engineers, User Interaction Designers, Software Architects, and the Project Management team to lead the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software in a fast-paced, challenging, and creative environment.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for the design of software modules.
  • Own and communicate design specifications to Senior Management.
  • Own development responsibility of your design.
  • Lead and guide junior developers and work seamlessly with our UK team.
  • Accountable for delivering multiple technical milestones and projects with a focus on meeting commitments.
Job Specification

Mandatory skills:

  • MVC Architecture Concepts (Zend, Kohana, Symfony)
  • CMS - Drupal/Joomla
  • jQuery / ExtJS / Prototype
  • MySQL
  • 3rd Party APIs like Facebook, Google, Twitter, LinkedIn with experience of OAuth

Desirable skills:

  • NodeJS / Python / NodeJs (Huge Plus)
  • Software Architecture
  • Design Patterns (Required)
  • Amazon AWS / Elastic Search
  • Apache Lucene / Faceted Search (for Search Algorithms)
  • Redis / Memcache (Huge Plus)
  • LAMP Stack (Can work with LAMP)
