Key Result Areas:
  • Promoting high standards of evidence-based learning and teaching by monitoring school progress across key performance indicators, with a focus on school and student improvement.
  • Recruiting, developing, supporting, encouraging, and retaining the best teachers in the school.
  • Developing a culture of mutual and continuous learning, respect, collaboration, and coordination, valuing every member of the school community, motivating students and teachers to learn and improve.
Academic Responsibilities:
  • Recruit quality teachers by implementing the Teacher Selection process.
  • Develop and ensure the implementation of the school improvement plan based on needs analysis.
  • Monitor classroom quality through lesson plans and observations.
  • Enhance teacher quality via demo sessions and feedback.
  • Monitor student performance through re-checking copies and test papers.
  • Organize and oversee co-curricular activities, timetable, assemblies, displays, library, laboratories, and use of academic resources.
  • Attend and conduct training sessions and on-the-job training for faculty.
  • Conduct transparent and timely term tests and examinations.
  • Build team spirit and motivate teachers, focusing on teacher retention.
Administrative Responsibilities:
  • Build relationships with the community to promote education and encourage enrollment.
  • Maintain student enrollment through effective outreach and strategies.
  • Coordinate with HR for staff hiring, retention, and performance management.
  • Maintain school discipline and promote positive character building.
  • Manage staff leaves and attendance to ensure minimal classroom disruptions.
  • Supervise administrative staff and manage school accounts accurately.
  • Ensure building maintenance and utility services are managed timely.
  • Coordinate with supervisors on board-related matters and ensure policy compliance.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports and documentation.
