Key Responsibilities:- Promoting high standards of evidence-based learning and teaching, by monitoring school progress across key performance indicators, remaining focused on improvement of the school and of every single student leaving no child behind.
- Recruiting, developing, empowering, supporting, encouraging, and retaining the best teachers in the school.
- Developing a culture of mutual and continuous learning, respect, collaboration, and coordination; in which every member of the school community—teachers, students, staff members, or parents—is valued, every child is motivated to learn, grow, and prosper, and every teacher is motivated to improve her knowledge and skills.
- Recruit quality teachers by ensuring the implementation of the Teacher Selection process.
- Developing a school improvement plan based on need analysis and ensuring its implementation within the school.
- Monitoring classroom quality through lesson planners and formal/informal classroom observations.
- Working on teacher quality through demo sessions and constant feedback.
- Monitoring student performance by re-checking student copies and test papers as per policy.
- Organizing, managing, and monitoring co-curricular activities, timetable, assembly, periods, displays, library, laboratories, use of academic resources, and performance of weak students.
- Attending training sessions and conducting on-the-job training for faculty within the school.
- Conducting term tests and examinations in a transparent and timely manner.
- Building team spirit and motivating teachers; focusing on teacher retention.
- Developing strong relationships with the community and creating awareness regarding education for both male and female children, encouraging them to join TCF schools.
- Ensuring required student strength is maintained within the school through effective enrollment strategies.
- Carrying out effective outreach of teachers and actively maintaining the CV bank at all times.
- Coordinating with Area and Regional HR teams for staff hiring, retention, performance management, and other HR-related matters.
- Maintaining school discipline and encouraging positive character building of students and staff.
- Managing staff leaves and attendance to ensure minimal classroom disruptions.
- Supervising the admin assistant in accounts and other matters.
- Maintaining school accounts accurately and ensuring they are well documented and up-to-date.
- Ensuring maintenance of buildings and premises.
- Managing utility services in a timely manner.
- Coordinating with the supervisor for board-related matters.
- Understanding and implementing TCF policies in school activities.
- Submitting reports and documents timely.
