Description:

The OT Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer will be responsible for the complete solution development cycle, including pre-sales support, developing conceptual designs for OT security for customers, supporting proof of concepts, requirement gathering, final solution design, proposal development, and delivery. The role also involves presenting to various internal and external stakeholders and covering aspects such as consulting, GRC, network design, implementation, and sustainability support.

Role:

The individual will play a key role in gathering customer requirements, understanding client challenges, assessing current OT networks, designing industry-compliant solutions utilizing existing and potential technology partners and tools, and preparing and presenting proposals. Support in developing and maintaining cybersecurity vendor partnerships is also expected. The individual is also expected to:

• Work closely with Cybersecurity Consultants, SMEs, and the Sales Team to ensure timely and quality delivery of solution proposals, including presenting technical and commercial elements during bidding cycles.
• Develop customer presentations for business development and opportunities.
• Design solutions based on best practices aligned with standards such as IEC-62443, NIST, NCA, ISO, etc.
• Create detailed technical designs and communicate them effectively through proposals and presentations.
• Standardize methodologies for various service offerings as required.
• Develop expertise to deliver proposals related to cybersecurity assessments, policies, procedures, business continuity, and monitoring systems.
• Participate in site surveys and requirement gathering workshops as needed.
• Respond to proposal requests and support bid preparations, ensuring compliance with internal and customer requirements.
• Lead initiatives for standardization to improve efficiency, including creating new techniques, methods, processes, templates, and tools.
• Coordinate with technology partners for solution development and identify new potential partners to meet customer needs.
• Support the development of marketing and business collateral in collaboration with the Marketing Team.
• Work with vendors as partners, coordinate proposals, and negotiate with suppliers.
• Develop procedures and produce high-quality documentation such as project plans, design procedures, and commercial terms to facilitate customer understanding.

Technical Requirements:

• Experience: 4-8 years
• Professional degree in Cybersecurity, Computer/Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• OT/Automation professionals with strong networking and cybersecurity skills may also be considered
• Experience in OT cybersecurity design, solutions, and proposals (preferably 4+ years)
• Experience in cybersecurity infrastructure and high-level design for large enterprise networks
• Experience with industrial/IIoT solutions and applications
• Understanding of the PURDUE Model layers from Field to Cloud/Enterprise
• Knowledge of ISA 62443 standards is preferred
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies and terms
• Experience in industrial environments such as Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, or Chemicals is preferred
• Basic knowledge of automation and control systems like PLC, DCS, SCADA, OPC, Historians
• Familiarity with OT-IT integration technologies such as OPC, MQTT, REST APIs, Web Services
• Knowledge of programming languages is a plus
• Experience with Windows Servers, Domain Controllers, Endpoint Protection, and networking hardware is preferred
• Certifications such as CCNA, IEC-62443, CISSP, or TOGAF are advantageous
