About the Job:

This is an exceptional job opportunity to join the UK's leading translation and interpretation company, TRANSLATION EMPIRE. We are looking for a full-time Assistant Project Manager with a background in project management or client management for our office located in Phase 7, Bahria Town, Islamabad.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Own the project requirements and manage its delivery.
  2. Be responsible for and manage the budget and costs (P&L).
  3. Attend/Conduct client meetings and assist with determining project requirements.
  4. Develop ideas and action plans to improve the organization's client handling strategies.
  5. Chair site meetings and distribute minutes to all project team members.
  6. Provide updates on projects to clients and senior management.
  7. Help the project team resolve and identify issues promptly to ensure project deliverables are not negatively impacted.
  8. Communicate effectively with clients, translators, and team members to ensure high-quality translated materials.
  9. Respond promptly and professionally to queries regarding projects.
  10. Ensure smooth internal and external communication on all project-related matters.
  11. Produce high-quality work, including detailed checks, to meet strict deadlines by coordinating with the team.
  12. Develop strong working relationships with internal teams, freelance translators, and clients.
  13. Perform any other relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Management, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or an equivalent field; MBA from a top business school is preferred.
  2. Professional certification(s) in Project Management are a plus.
  3. Highly organized with the ability to multitask and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  4. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  5. Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
  6. Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Proficiency in managing data and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  9. Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
  10. Aptitude for delivering engaging presentations.
  11. Good persuasive skills.
