Designation: Sales and Business Development Head
Reporting to: CCE
Reporting Location: Islamabad
Job Description:
- Sales Team Management:
- The Sales & Business Development Head will review the existing sales department and evaluate results to identify areas for improvement.
- Assess and identify the competencies and resources needed by the sales department to achieve optimal performance, leading to financial benefits for the business.
- Analytics:
- The Head will conduct research and perform analyses on the sales department's performance, ensuring timely and accurate sales reporting.
- Create reports on sales activities for presentation to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Set, monitor, and validate sales team objectives in collaboration with the CCE.
- Business Development, Large Proposals Management, and Key Stakeholder Engagement:
- Lead business development efforts for major opportunities in Pakistan, maintaining a list of projects, opportunities, and tenders.
- Manage relationships with large clients within the area.
- Act as a brand ambassador, leveraging established relationships to represent the business, share its vision, increase awareness, and build new connections.
- Identify, prepare, and submit pre-qualification documents, expressions of interest, offers, and tenders, including contract review.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree (master's preferred) in Communications, Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, or related field with an engineering background.
- Experience: At least 15 years in a sales role within a complex, fast-paced environment, preferably as a Sales & Business Development Manager.
- Experience in sales research, data analysis, and strategy formulation to meet targets.
- Established contacts within the industry and experience with CRM platforms.
- Proven sales skills with a strong track record of success.
- Experience dealing with both public and private sector companies for tenders, negotiations, and finalizations.
