Designation: Sales and Business Development Head

Reporting to: CCE

Reporting Location: Islamabad

Job Description:

  • Sales Team Management: Conduct review of the existing sales department and evaluate results to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assess and identify the competencies and resources required by the sales department to achieve optimal performance and financial benefits.
  • Analytics: Conduct research and perform analyses on the sales department's performance to ensure accurate and timely sales reporting.
  • Track sales activities and create reports for senior management to aid strategic decision-making.
  • Set, monitor, and validate sales team objectives in collaboration with the CCE.
  • Business Development, Large Proposals Management, and Stakeholder Engagement: Lead business development for major opportunities in Pakistan, maintaining a list of projects, opportunities, and tenders.
  • Manage relationships with large clients and act as a brand ambassador to represent the company's vision, increase awareness, and build new relationships.
  • Identify, prepare, and submit pre-qualification documents, expressions of interest, offers, and tenders, including review of offers and contracts.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Communications, Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field with an engineering background.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years in sales within a complex, fast-paced environment, preferably as a Sales & Business Development Manager.
  • Proven experience in sales research, data analysis, and strategy development to meet targets.
  • Established industry contacts and experience with CRM platforms and sales databases.
  • Exceptional sales skills with a strong record of success in sales conversion.
  • Experience dealing with both public and private sector companies for tenders, negotiations, and finalizations.
