Job Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh

WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for regular Market and JTI performance analysis, continuous enhancement of Market reporting capabilities, as well as providing support for Bangladesh Market category long-term volume forecasting with strong business understanding which includes extensive knowledge of the different variables that impact our industry categories and brands development, including macroeconomics, incidence & consumption, consumer dynamics, pricing, volume, inflow/outflow, retail KPIs, taxation.

WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead projects with efficient management techniques and provide necessary support. Highlight improvements or potential threats to successfully reaching project milestones.
  • Develop and analyze reports to monitor data management KPIs, ensuring information quality and accuracy. Make clear, concrete recommendations based on business analysis and follow up on decisions.
  • Improve reporting capabilities, from data management to new business requirements analysis. Ensure data consistency and quality of delivery in accordance with agreed-upon terms.
  • Develop market size scenarios and support excise and price dynamics analysis. Provide active support for understanding and anticipating market changes.
  • Govern BI solutions and validate measures and dimensions. Identify new ways to respond to business requirements through technical implementation.
  • Spot market opportunities through constant monitoring of the operating environment. Provide training and information cascade regarding reporting solutions and best practices.
  • Support business objective setting and ensure accurate and timely uploading in JTI's informational systems. Provide short-term sales forecasts and performance tracking with recommendations for adjustments.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree in MIS, Economics, Finance Marketing, or a similar field.
  • MBA or equivalent educational background is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years in analytical-based roles or related M&S functions, preferably in FMCG.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Arc GIS, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of ERP, CRM, PowerBI, and other BI tools.
  • Strong strategic analysis capability and business acumen.
