We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the electrical and mechanical space, with a specific emphasis on new business development within the sector in Singapore. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of the electrical and mechanical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies aimed at driving growth in the related business segment of electrical and mechanical solutions, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential partnerships and projects within the electrical and mechanical domain, particularly focusing on infrastructure projects and other potential developments.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, such as LTA/PUB, contractors, system integrators, and other industry partners to facilitate project acquisition and collaboration.

  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs, ensuring that strategies are data-driven and market-informed.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer support, to provide tailored solutions that meet client requirements

  • Prepare and present compelling proposals and sales presentations to potential clients, highlighting the unique benefits of our solutions in the context of their specific needs.

  • Monitor and report on key sales performance metrics, providing regular insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales or business development, experience in the electrical & mechanical industry

  • Proven track record in meeting sales targets

  • Basic understanding on local code of practice and safety standards, especially for industrialProjects

  • Experience to deal with Chinese-based construction companies is highly preferred.

  • Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders).
