Position: Facilitator – Youth Climate Action Trainings (6)

Number of Positions: 6 (3 Male, 3 Female)

Location: Okara

Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Public Relations, or a related field.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
  • Must be a Pakistani national
  • Age between 25 to 45 years
  • Minimum qualification: Bachelor's degree (Preferably in Social Sciences, Environmental Studies, Education, or related fields)
  • Prior experience of working with local communities on issues related to:
    • Youth development
    • Climate change mitigation and adaptation
  • Demonstrated training delivery experience with strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with local cultural context and social dynamics
  • Knowledge of local climate challenges and climate-related initiatives
  • Proficient in local languages spoken in the district
Skills & Competencies
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities
  • Deep understanding of climate issues, sustainable development, and youth engagement
  • Ability to work independently with commitment and accountability
  • Familiarity with digital tools for training delivery (preferred)

Job Description
  • Conduct interactive and participatory training sessions for youth on climate change, community resilience, and development.
  • Use project-provided content and adapt it to local context and language.
  • Mobilize and engage youth participants from different backgrounds, ensuring gender inclusivity and diversity.
  • Maintain training quality and a safe learning environment in line with safeguarding principles.
  • Submit session-wise reports, attendance, and feedback forms to the project team.
  • Coordinate closely with local partners, communities, and project staff to ensure effective training delivery.
  • Support pre- and post-training communication and follow-up with youth participants.
  • Promote local climate action initiatives and youth leadership during the sessions.
