Job Description:

As a Sales Development Representative at AST, you will play a key role in our sales team by managing the entire sales process from initial contact to closing deals. You will work closely with potential clients to understand their needs, negotiate terms, and facilitate a smooth transition from prospect to customer. Your skills in building relationships, handling objections, and closing sales are vital for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound leads from our CRM, conducting introductory calls to assess client needs.
  • Qualify prospects and introduce our service offerings, including software development and digital solutions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach and lead qualification to closing deals.
  • Follow up regularly, build strong client relationships, and close sales.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to improve outreach strategies.
  • Update all lead interactions in our CRM for reporting and analysis.
  • Lead the sales process to successfully close deals, overcoming objections and securing contracts.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client requirements and align our solutions to meet their business goals.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the sales process.
  • Work with team members to ensure smooth transition from lead generation to closing.
  • Conduct tailored product demonstrations and presentations addressing client concerns.
  • Address objections and provide creative solutions to potential challenges.
  • Track sales progress, report deal status, and forecast future sales to support planning.
  • Ensure clients are smoothly transitioned to implementation or customer success teams post-sale and maintain contact for upselling opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, especially in closing deals within software or technology sectors.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and explain basic software solutions to clients.
  • Persistent, resilient, and capable of working under pressure to meet targets.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
