Mid/Senior Full Stack Node.js Developer (AI / LLM Focus)

The Role

You'll own end-to-end delivery of AI-driven features on our core platform, collaborating with product, design and data-science teams. You'll design and build REST/GraphQL services in Node.js, integrate LLM APIs (e.g. GPT-4), and craft responsive front-ends that surface insights from embeddings and retrieval-augmented generation.

What You'll Do

  • Architect, develop and maintain Node.js/Nest.js microservices and serverless functions
  • Integrate LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate) for semantic search and chat
  • Build React front-ends with clean, performant UI and state management
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
  • Write unit/integration tests and conduct code reviews to uphold quality standards
  • Optimize performance and cost on AWS/GCP/Azure (Lambda, ECS/EKS, Cloud Run)
  • Collaborate on prompt design, fine-tuning workflows and production monitoring

What You Bring

  • 4+ years professional experience in Node.js / Express or NestJS
  • 3+ years building SPAs with React (Hooks, Context, Redux) or comparable frameworks
  • Familiarity with vector stores and retrieval pipelines
  • Solid understanding of REST, GraphQL and WebSocket APIs
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or serverless deployments
  • Strong testing discipline (Jest, Mocha, Cypress) and code-review mindset
  • Excellent communication and ownership mentality

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Next.js, Nuxt or server-side rendering
  • Background in data-intensive applications (ETL, streaming)
  • Prior work on AI-driven SaaS products
