Job Description: Project Management and Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Management and Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent Bachelor of Science in Information Technology graduate who is interested in project management and possesses strong organizational and administrative skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management Support:
  2. Assist the Developer Manager and IT Manager in planning, organizing, and coordinating project activities.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track project progress, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  4. Maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and reports.
  5. Support the development and implementation of project management methodologies and tools.
  1. Administrative Duties:
  2. Provide general administrative support to the Developer Manager and IT Manager.
  3. Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings, conferences, and appointments.
  4. Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and action items.
  5. Help manage and maintain project-related documents and files.
  6. Perform data entry tasks, including updating spreadsheets and databases.
  7. Assist in preparing reports and presentations as required.
  1. Communication and Coordination:
  2. Act as a liaison between the Developer Manager, IT Manager, and project team members.
  3. Facilitate effective communication among team members, ensuring all relevant information is shared and understood.
  4. Help coordinate project-related communications, including emails, notifications, and announcements.
  5. Assist in organizing and facilitating team meetings, including setting up audio/video conferencing tools and taking meeting minutes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in project management and willingness to learn and grow in this field.
  • Proficiency in using project management tools, such as Excel, Microsoft Project, or similar software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in administrative duties.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in using standard office productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
