You will be leading a team of finance and accounting professionals in navigating operational finance, accounting and payment activities for a scale up company that is growing at a fast pace, opening new markets and building better finance processes. You will be reporting to the CFO.

Responsibilities
  1. Providing day-to-day leadership and support to the team members
  2. Review Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable reconciliations
  3. Manage day-to-day cash flow positions
  4. Manage invoicing process and provide feedback to customer support team on requested items
  5. Prepare period-close reports and ensure readiness for financial close
  6. Post month-end journal entries as appropriate
  7. Preparing balance sheet and profit and loss statement
  8. Set finance processes for new country expansions
  9. Work with the engineering & IT team on process automation
  10. Flag critical points to the Head of Finance
  11. Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements

We are looking for someone who is specialized in accounting or finance. You'll also need to have:

  1. CPA certification
  2. 8+ years of experience working in finance & accounting, with growing responsibilities
  3. Strong knowledge of financial bookkeeping procedures
  4. Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and standards
  5. Experience with various ERP's, everyday usage of Excel or Google Sheets
  6. Fluency in English is a must
  7. Basic Arabic knowledge is a plus
